Students Stand Up: A Panel On Student Movements Against Sexualized Violence

Friday, September 23 · 6:30pm – 9:00pm

CSU Lounge, Hall building, 7th floor

A part of the 2110 Centre for Gender Advocacy’s Another Word For Gender event series, coordinated by the Concordians For A Safer University campaign. This speakers panel will feature organizers from US-based policy reform organization Students Active For Ending Rape (SAFER), and from the Sexual Assault Centre of McGill Students Society (SACOMSS) – all ready to discuss and answer questions about their experiences in student-led movements against sexualized violence on campus. Find out why sexualized violence is a problem that needs to be addressed on college and university campuses specifically, what campaigns and resources exist already, and how YOU – yes you! – can stop rape and support survivors right here at Concordia University.
