According to the Sexual Assault Centre at the University of Victoria, one in four women experience some form of sexualized violence or coercion during their time at college or university. How are Canadian post-secondary institutions set up to deal with these assaults, and where is there room for improvement? At this teach-in, we will analyze existing policies and services at Concordia and McGill, and discuss what university students, faculty and staff can do to help make the university – any university – a safer place for everyone.
