On January 30, 2014, the Centre for Gender Advocacy hosted a presentation by founding member of the Collectif des féministes musulmanes du Québec, Leila Bdeir. Bdeir, who teaches Humanities and Women’s Studies at Vanier College, is an active member of the Fédération des femmes du Québec.
