Join Cinema Politica Concordia for the QC premieres of OBSCURO BARROCO and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARSHA!, two films bringing the history of revolutionary trans activists to the big screen for an evening of discovery, metamorphosis and the refusal to accept the status quo.

This screening is a co-presentation of Fierté en Hiver Concordia, the Centre for Gender Advocacyand ASTTeQ Montréal. Admission is by donation ($5-10 suggested). The venue is wheelchair accessible. The mesmerizing film about iconic transgender artist and activist, Marsha “Pay it No Mind” Johnson follows her in the hours before she ignited the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City and gave birth to a movement.
