The overall goal of the Advocacy Coordinator role is to coordinate the Centre’s defense of the rights of women and trans+ people with a specific focus on direct advocacy and legislative participation. Working closely alongside the Community Engagement Coordinator, this position will serve to improve the living conditions of gender minorities at Concordia University, in Montreal, and across Quebec.
Duration:
This is a one-year renewable contract with a 3-month probationary period.
Salary and Benefits:
$23/hr for 25 hrs/week. 4 weeks of annual paid vacation and health benefits including some gender-affirming care after the 3-month probationary period.
Start Date
Mid-October 2023.

L’objectif du poste de coordinateur.trice du plaidoyer est de coordonner la défense des droits des femmes et des personnes bispirituelles, transgenres et non binaires (2STNB) par le Centre, avec un accent particulier sur le plaidoyer direct.
Rémunération
23$/heure. 4 semaines de vacances annuelles payées et prestations de santé après la période d’essai de 3 mois.
Horaire
25 heures/semaine. Hybride avec 2 jours obligatoires dans notre bureau au centre-ville.

Mi-octobre 2023.
