Beyond acronyms: for Black, Indigenous, People of Colour who live in the gender non-conforming universe

Starts: Wednesday, February 20th 2019 at 6:00 pm
Ends: Wednesday, February 20th 2019 at 8:30 pm

What does it mean to have our experiences grouped together in a quick, convenient acronym?

How do we give space to our experiences that go beyond the conforms of a strict western colonial binary and linear way of understanding gender and sexualities?

On February 20th, 6pm-8:30pm, we will gather to have discussions and a talking circle about our lived experiences and realities.

There will be food and beverages to fill our bellies!

This event is intended for self-identified Black, Indigenous and people of colour who live in the gender non-conforming universe.

Where: The Jarislowski Institute for Canadian Art
Concordia Univeristy, EV Building, room 3.711

The venue is wheelchair accessible.

*Co-organized with Fierté en hiver Concordia.
